About
Vaneeta
Vaneeta is a clinical psychologist who’s been obsessed with sports since she was a kid growing up in Canada. Over the past 15 years, she's had the chance to work with athletes on everything from mental health to leadership, and has even run leadership training for some major league teams and spoke at the NBA Women’s Leadership Forum.
With the recognition of women’s sports on the rise, she couldn’t help but notice that the commentary is still mostly guys talking about stats, acronyms, and games from forever ago. While that stuff has its place, Vaneeta has felt it’s not exactly what’s going to get new fans excited.
She's excited to shake things up by diving into the real stories behind the athletes—the stuff that makes us laugh, think, and sometimes want to tear our hair out.
Pallavi
Pallavi Yetur is an L.A.-based therapist and writer whose essays have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Salon, and NBC News THINK.

She never considered herself athletic or sporty but did (attempt to) play plenty of team sports in school like volleyball, water polo, and track & field. She's also a blue belt in karate. Her activities of choice now are pole sport, pilates, and the occasional game of tennis.

Pallavi came to sports fandom through her husband, a loyal NY Rangers/Giants/Yankees golf fan from New Jersey, but she quickly found that all of his favorite sports podcasts were a little grating to listen to. She started wishing there was a sports podcast out that there spoke to her. She also realized that it's not always the team she connects with... it's the players.
